2TB G-Tech G Drive compatibility issue

I'm on 10.4.11 (yes, Tiger... I know) and while Apple's site says it will mount on 10.3 and up, G-Tech's site says 10.5 and up. I do not wish to upgrade my OS. So will it work on Tiger? Thanks!
