looking to get an airport express.

I have alienware pc now and want to get macbook...

question is...can i connect the airport express to the 2wire router..and still keep the pc wired to the router since it cant do wireless? or does connecting a airport express make the hard-wired portion of the router void and i can now only get internet through wireless?

I have an Airport also and I have my PC (A Gateway) hard-wired into the router and the 2 mackbooks wireless w/o a problem. You hard wire 3 computers into the Airport.

You can connect the Airport Express to the 2wire modem and still use the wired portion of the 2wire modem. I would turn off the wireless from the 2wire router - if it exists - so that you only deal with the Airport Express wireless network.
