Hey Guys,
I'm in the market for an external display to pair w/ my late 2013 rMBP. Budget is ~$1200.
The main debate I guess comes down to either two 27" 4k (Dell w/ discount ~$500/each) running at a scaled res or a single 32" (Acer or BenQ) running at native. I like the idea of having the real estate of native 4k, but I also enjoy the crispness of my rMBP running at a scaled resolution. With the dual setup, one of the screens will have to be run at 30Hz.
Would the lower PPI of the 32" 4k displays look horrible next to the rMBP? Presumably given the distance one would sit from those large screens, the PPI might not need to be as high.
The other option in this budget range is one of the 34" ultra wide screens running at 1440p vertical.
Thoughts?
