Ok, I am confused. How do I know what my iPhone 4 is using. I downloaded a theme for orange status bar signal bars. It didn't work at all. The naming convention used was for an older version of iOS.

I changed it to black_0_bars.png etc but copied the file and named the copy black_0_bars@2x.png. Did this for everything. Then put all the files in two folders one here

Var/stash/themes.xxxxxx/orange.theme/uiimages

And a duplicate set of all files here

Var/stash/themes.xxxxxx/orange.theme/Bundles/com.apple.springboard

After all of this work in iFile, I resprang and I got orange signal bars that were tiny and only came up 60% of the time.

Can anyone set me on the right path?

Restoring to stock iOS and re jailbreaking?

Deleted bundles/com.apple.springboard

Deleted all files in /uiimages ending in @2x

Great success! Looks mediocre but much better than blue.
