I've been thinking about upgrading to 4GB of RAM in my MBP and in order to finance it, I was going to sell the RAM that came with my laptop.

But I've been wondering, would 2 x 1GB of DDR3 be difficult to sell?
Has anyone sold it themselves?

It seems like any laptop that has DDR3 RAM would have at least 2GB in it already...

i found a seller on ebay who is also selling there's for $9.99 so that might be a fair price for some used ram

Well just to reintroduce what you could get for it the 4GB kit goes around $60-$75 US as my girlfriend just bought some Crucial RAM, the 4GB kit for $60 from www.newegg.com
I'm not sure you could get much more than say $30 for your old RAM and that's being generous plus if anything does happen to the new RAM you have spare sticks to put in there until the others get replaced.
Guess ebay or a local college would be the way to go to sell it.

Base model Mac mini people can use it, but that's a small market. If you're only going to get $10 for it, I'd keep it to use as a backup and have stock RAM to send in with your computer in case anything goes wrong.
