Upgrading my macbook...it's been running VERY Slow and my wife is going nuts.

Just got it in January and the DVD burner has already gone bad and I'm having a problem with power supply...not what I expected.

Will 2x2 run faster/better than 4x1? Which is faster, cheaper, better thing to do?

I tried searching but didn't see anything. Thanks!

Saw this in an earlier post, has a rebate currently...looks cheap and should work, right?

yea i agree with the guy above me dual channel get better proformance i miss read the post at first i thought you were wanting to put 4x1gb not 1x4gb lol but yea my next update is 2x2gb and every one i see that has that can do anything that does not a good graphics card for lol

well first off take your battery out of the macbook look there is a little L braket with three screws in it if you would take it off you would see that the macbook can only hold 2 sticks of ram not 4 and if you do some research you would have figured the question out already

I was asking if 2x2 is better than one stick of four...didn't realize each could only hold 2gb worth. Thanks.
