My friends at Ars Technica were talking earlier about this whole thing being a big April Fools Joke. Microsoft, RIM, HP, PC magazine, and more have pulled big pranks like this before. So maybe its Apple's turn. Supposably Ars Technica will be publishing an article on this tomorrow, claiming that Apple will reveal 3.0 as a prank on April 1.
