I've noticed several nuances with 3.0 on my iPhone 3G.

First off, my iPhone randomly tells me it's docked when it's not. I have to restart my phone in order to get my volume bar back since it is now a "feature" for it to disappears when you are docked for real. This happens when I plug in via my wall charger as well.

Secondly, why can I not enable the battery percentage as users can with the new 3GS. That's just a stupid thing to not include for ALL 3.0 users. Don't tell me that a battery percentage meter is used to differentiate the phones either.

And last, all my animations are choppy with 3.0. They worked fine on 2.0.

Other than that, it's fantastic....

Also, AT&T needs to get their collective poop together because I'm sick of not having MMS. Not to mention, group texts I can now not send since they appear as "group MMS" and when I click send I get a red exclamatory point next to the message and a pop-up that says to try again.

Sorry for the rant.

check the charging port for pocket lint. happens to me sometimes. the phone thinks it's docked when something gets in there.

Alright. Do you think compressed air would do the trick?

I just received a free message from AT&T telling me to take advantage of my unlimited messaging plan. It told me to try sending some picture messages and using messengers.

That's awesome...that I can't lol

Thanks guys... (with the exception of *ahem* one of you)

Now I just need to get that battery meter, lol.

Only way to add the % for battery on a 3g is by jailbreaking which is what I did.

That's so stupid. Why that's not included for all models is beyond my comprehension.

Looks like I'll be checking out the jailbreaking dept.
