3.0 Download Off Web help

Please don't slate me for this but I have just noticed that you can download 3.0 software from some torrent websites.

I just want to know if this is safe? Can it be installed through itunes, if not how can it be installed.

Thanks for any help. If people dont think this is wise then please also let me know.

No. You can't even use it if you do this and your iPhone becomes a brick for three months until the real 3.0 is released.

it can be installed, but unless your devices ID has been registered thru a developers account then the phone will never activate, and as far as i know, you can't downgrade back to 2.2.1

Haha... You're right about that. Sometimes I think I'd rather get a *real* slap across the face, rather than put up with the bashing I see people receive sometimes. At least the slap would be over quick and not drawn out over pages and pages of people telling you what an idiot you are...
