3.0 GM uses lots of resources???

I have been watching this with Free Memory.

Previously, upon restarting the iphone 3G, i have had 39-30 free. Now it drop to 14-19 within about 30 minutes of being on.

I have bluetooth, location, wifi, off.

No other real changes.

I have Restarted by clearing cache (holding both buttons). However for some reason, lots of resources are being gobbled up.

Anyway, it's only the first day I've had 3.0 installed. Haven't noticed a difference in battery life yet. Still at 100% after an hour.

Why are so many system resources being used???

Haven't played anything or used apps yet either, so I don't know if there is a difference in performance.

Not a complaint, just a question...

BTW, still at 100% Battery almost 5 hours later. Mostly standby and checking how much battery is left though.

i dont think it uses more memory.. my phone seems faster than before when it had 2.2.1

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it the 'Inactive' amont of RAM that you shoud be worried about, and not the 'Free' amount of RAM?
