I could swear that before I upgraded to 3.0, I could keep the home button pressed for a couple of seconds to quit the Music app.

Now, that doesn't seem to happen. The only way to stop the music is to press "pause" before pressing the home button.

I'm wondering if this is taking up resources/memory on my Ipod (I'm used to properly ending apps when I'm done with them).

Anyone else find this kind of annoying?

Because of the voice control app, which now uses the home button extended press, force quit has been changed in 3.0.

The new way is to hold down the power button until the slide to power off screen, and then press the home button.
