3.0 no longer capitalizes abbreviated words?

noticed this when typing 'LOL' in a text. previously the predictive text would automatically capitalize all three letters. Now it does not. Same with 'BTW'. can't think of any other abbreviations at the moment. it does, however, capitalize 'WTF'
WTF?!
