3.0 and email question ...

I would like to see an enhancement for email notifications...kinda like the way a text comes over..Can it just say across the screen you have one new email instead of having to unlock the phone to find out you have an email

anyone with 3.0 know if this is one of the new features ?

i've wanted this for too long. I'm on the 2nd beta of 3.0, and at least as far as this beta goes, it hasn't changed. You still have to unlock the screen to find out if a/any new email(s) are waiting for you.

Sucks, they seriously need to step up the notification system as far as that goes.

Once push is activated, it will probably be an option. We still have a few beta levels to go yet...summer is 2 and a half months away. We have not seen everything yet so have a little patience.
