3.0 Update due at 3am

That would be the most likely result.

We all need to wait for Hawaii to be on Wednesday June 17. As of now, they are still on Tuesday around 10:20.

We still have 1 hour and 40 minutes. My Guess is 3am Pacific Time!

Thoughts??

Well, if were going down that road, the update will probably come at 4am Pacific Time as there is one more time zone in between Hawaii and the international date line.
Apple probably wants to wait for it to be June 17th in all international waters before releasing the update lest a mariner with a satellite internet connection get it before anyone else. :rolleyes:
 
I am off to work now, wont be back for about 10 hours, hopefully it will be there by then
 
I'm betting it'll be out mid-afternoon US west coast time. Just to mess with everyone.

In a surprise move, Apple today announced that the release of the iPhone 3.0 Software Update will be delayed until January due to development of Snow Leopard.

Snow Leopard is a major update to Mac OS X with thousands of improvements, and finishing it on time has not come without a price -- we had to borrow some key software engineering and QA resources from our iPhone software team, and as a result we will not be able to release the iPhone 3.0 update today as planned.

For 2.0 and all bigger updates they've released it around 8-9AM San Francisco time.
 
iTunes team have nothing to do, cept stay up all night and push a iPhone firmware at 3am >_>
 
according to a watch thats off. it will not be released on time

420 here.. decided to get the 3.0 GM and put it on my 1st Gen.. did a run through of the features.. still wish I had MMS and eligibility for the 3GS because video is what I really wanna mess with.. along with voice control and the new earbuds with REMOTE:eek:
 
Hmm, I don't know if The Pirate Bay is affiliated with Apple in any way, but they have it officially released already... :confused:
 
I'm getting on a plane at 6:45am to travel from John Wayne Airport in Orange County to NYC. I'm leaving my house at 4am and I won't be have time to sit down at a place with WiFi until probably Thursday, so I'm hoping it comes online around 3:00am or 3:30am Pacific Time so I can get it downloaded and installed in plenty of time and have it during my travels all day today, as opposed to having to wait until Thursday in my hotel in New York.
