3.0 worse reception on o2 London

I upgraded to 3.0 but am now getting 2g gprs signal instead of 3g inside in London. Anyone noticed worse reception with 3.0?

my 3g reception in London has improved!!! I normally have 1 bar and fluctuate between 3g and edge, but now i have 4 bars!! - whoop whoop!
maybe i stole some of your bars! lol

I was about to post saying that here, Long Island NY, my reception remains the same however my GPS is way off, much like it was when I had a 2G, however I initiated it right before I posted and it's back on target. So it's just you.

O2 3G reception is a joke pretty much anywhere.

Even with a 3GS I am not getting 3g inside or wifi. I now have two iphones, no wifi or 3g inside in central London. I should have stayed on 2.2.1, at least that worked.

I'm actually finding 3G reception better on 3.0 on my 3G, but O2's 3G coverage is still poor.

my reception has improved by 2 bars, but my battery is draining very quickly and i haven't even been playing with the phone - been at work.

maybe the radio is taking more power.
