People often post milestones here, so here's another one to add to the list.

Around 7:30PM EDT, MR had it's 3000000th search.
And, yes, I'll admit I made most of the last 50 or so.
FWIW, in the past 15 minutes, we've added another 86 or so.

3 million! Wow! Contrats Mac Rumors. This is a great forum and I'm glad to see its very alive and thriving.

I would estimate that about 80+% of those are from people (like me) that habitually click 'New Posts' 100 times a day! :D

I click 'New Posts' only 50 times a day  .

God. Imagine if people actually used the search function. We'd be at 10 mil., easy.

What are the numbers on mroogle, edesign?

Glad to do my part. :) I hit the New Posts button about 50 times a day too.

I only hit it ~20 times a day.

2 years and 5ish months x 20 a day = ~17,600 from me! ;)

That's more than Google has had in its entire history!

Oh wait, I missed a decimal point. Make that more than Google has had since this thread started!

But good for MacRumors anyway. :D

I don't know if it's just me and I'm in a particularly jovial mood, but it seems there are less threads in the troubleshooting forums that are blatant double-ups. In other words, people seem to be searching before posting their problems more often now, which is terribly cool.

*Can't help but notice that there have been more searches than posts*

See, some of us do search rather than post without searching ;)

But that means you can't spa...I mean help them all out as much.

Yeah, it's getting lonely in there. I'll have to start punching holes in my own Macs and asking whether AppleCare covers me... :D

Not that I even have AppleCare...
