3.0GHz 8800GT Mac Pros are not being shipped

Maybe I am wrong but...
I've tried looking at hundreds of posts.
So far I have not found anyone who ordered a 3.0GHz 8800GT Mac Pro and has had it delivered as yet.
I seen a couple members who are expecting delivery tomorrow.
Am I wrong?

p.s. I am getting very angry. I ordered mine on January 13th.
The expected shipping date is February 21st.
 
Do we really need new threads about every possible configuration the Mac Pro can be bought at?

I know what you are saying.
I have looked at hundreds of posts specifically for the 3.0GHz Mac Pro.
Do you know how time consuming that is?
I have only found a handful of people who even ordered 3.0GHz 8800GT Mac Pros.
I am trying to go to my customer service rep for answers.
But if no one else has the 3.0GHz being delivered, what am I supposed to say?
My shipping date is the 21st?
I must be one of the dumbest people on this planet! :mad:

p.s. I've also been searching the internet for the X5472 and E5472 processors.
There is a slight chance that maybe Apple is changing the 3.0 processor from the X5472 to the E5472.
 
I'm not sure on the 3.0, but I have a 2.8 and mine hasn't shipped either. Most posts that haven't shipped seem to have a 500gb drive.

Sorry, I know that's of no help... I ordered Jan. 14th. I've kind of given up on constant checking. Maybe we'll get ours on time, right?

So.. stop doing it and just WAIT for your computer to be shipped? Has Apple missed their original estimate yet? Or are you (and several others) just acting like spoiled little kids?

Relax for crying out loud. It'll get here when it gets here.

3.0 w/ 8800 ordered 1/21 with educational discount, stock o/w. Arriving FedEx ground tomorrow. Don't know if that helps or hurts...

I ordered the 3.0, 8800gt, and a 500gb drive! Triple whammy! Oh well. My "ship by" date is February 19th, with delivery on the 20th. I ordered on Jan. 27. Of course I'd love to get it sooner, but Apple hasn't broken their word with me.

I should add that if waiting until the actual "ship by" date means the E5472 processor, I'll be even happier with my new machine!

Yes, that is the only thing that can cheer me up right now.

You ordered your Mac Pro on the 27th with a shipping date of February 19th.
I ordered my Mac Pro on the 13th with a shipping date of February 21st.
I am just so happy right now I could just puke.

My 3.0GHz Mac Pro arrived this morning - 8GB RAM and 8800 GT :D

(I've probably made myself somewhat unpopular on here now !!!)
 
Sorry, Topper. I received my shipping notice today. 3.0ghz, 8800gt, 500gb, airport card, education discount. I ordered on Jan. 27. I'll have it tomorrow.

No, I would not begrudge you your Mac Pro.
Now I can go back to my customer service rep and say, "Now look here..."
