I have a 3gs, new bootrom, and I had my phone jailbroken with spirit on 3.1.2. When 4.0 was released, I updated, and have had nothing but problems. Cellular data stopped working, (almost a month without it.....) and now I'm getting service problems left right and centre. I've had enough of it, so I'm going to restore back to 3.1.2/3 and rejailbreak, take my sms' off my phone, and do a full restore and re-jailbreak.

Which firmware should I use? I have never used 3.1.3 before, but my SHSH is saved for it. Since i updated to 4.0, my baseband is already updated, but I have no plans of unlocking anyway. I would like to use Spirit again so I am not restricted to a tether JB (anyone else release an unteathered break for the new bootrom?). What changes atually came for 3.1.3? Anything worth updating for or should I just go back to 3.1.2?

3.1.3 is fine. There is nothing about 3.1.2 that gives it an advantage to 3.1.3 jailbreak wise.
