I upgraded 2 iPhone 3g to 3.1 when it came out and now we can't get through 8 hours of our typical use without the battery dying. Anyone else? We use it with the same antennas on with our normal usage as with previous versions.

I am so glad you started a new thread about a battery issue. We needed one!

Wow, since 3.1 came out I can't go through 8 hours on here without ANOTHER poor battery life thread started (read the rules)!

There are lots of better choices out there if you aren't happy with your iphone. I hear that the Palm Pre is perfect. Battery lasts a week, gigabit speed, millions of free apps, syncs with iTunes... and it only costs $99 now!!!
