Hi there all,

After my previous post about upgrading my 3,1 Mac pro, it's finally together but having issues. Ram and SSD install went fine, along with installing el capitan. I still have my old HDD connected (with snow leopard) incase of any issues so I could boot from that.

The issue has started after installing the gtx680 graphics card. When trying to boot from the SSD, I get a no entry sign for a few seconds before getting the apple logo and progress bar. The progress bar then gets stuck halfway. The gtx680 is a flashed pc card, booting from my old HDD works fine.

SSD booted fine before the GPU install. Any thoughts?

Did you try Nvidia web driver? That’s one of the advantage of using 680.
