Just seeing a few posts about processor upgrades on various mac pros.
I've had mine 3 years now, the Apple Care has run out.
I use it mainly for Logic Pro...and some gaming under bootcamp.
The last project I mixed pretty much maxed out my Mac, which was a pain.
I'm just wondering whether I can upgrade the processor?
If so - what to?
This is my system spec..
Model Name: Mac Pro
Model Identifier: MacPro3,1
Processor Name: Quad-Core Intel Xeon
Processor Speed: 2.8 GHz
Number Of Processors: 1
Total Number Of Cores: 4
L2 Cache: 12 MB
Memory: 6 GB
Bus Speed: 1.6 GHz
Boot ROM Version: MP31.006C.B05
Thanks
Ben
