3.3GHz dual-core i5 or 3.5GHz dual-core i7 on MBP 13" 2017?

Hello, on the 13" 2017 MBP, is there noticeable increase in performance in the 3.5GHz dual-core i7 CPU over the 3.3GHz dual-core i5 CPU?

I had a 2014 rMBP 15" with Quad-core i7 few years before. Is the 3.3GHz dual-core i5 on the 13" MBP 2017 is as fast as it?

First question: no

Second question: no. But the new CPU bursts faster, so you would have better response times in everyday workflows. For sustained heavy workflows the old 15” is more performant.
