I am looking for an external enclosure for my 3.5" SATA drives that were inside my previous computer. There are three of them, and I would love if I could find an enclosure for all of them. Would rather get USB 3.0, as it is the second best to TB ATM.

I need to find one (3-in-1 or 3 separate) that matches the new iMac.*

Any suggestions?

Nope. Won't work. Perhaps with a TB to USB 3 adapter at some point.
But as others have pointed out, Apple doesn't support USB 3 at all (they do support ESATA, FW, and now TB), so you would be at the mercy of third party drivers. Something I would want to avoid myself.

Really, at this point it's TB, as others are enjoying the speeds of USB 3, having to settle for FW800 is getting a bit tired.

Macally has one USB 3.0 enclosure, though.

So the iMac's motherboard does not have 3.0 ports?

So, then, FW 800 is faster than USB 2.0, correct? Hmm...

There are no TB enclosures yet. "/
