3.5" to 5.25" adapter or eSATA

I need to install Boot Camp. Unfortunately OS X does not support Boot Camp so I need to install the client OS on an external or another drive.

I just want a true and tried solution, either a drive in my optical bay or an eSATA card (with an eSATA drive).

Any recommendations for either? I already have a spare 1TB 7200RPM drive lying around (the Apple OEM one).
