I am receiving 3 beeps on my MacBook after turning my computer on. Prior to this, I wiped my hard drive with Wipedrive because my computer was hacked and became unresponsive. After the drive was successfully wiped, I tried to boot with a os x snow leopard cd and I received the 3 beeps. The ram that is installed is the factory ram and it has never been touched or replaced. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Everything I've Googled suggests it's a RAM issue. I can imagine a RAM/hardware problem making your computer become unresponsive. If it's still under warranty, I'd suggest making an appointment with Apple to fix.
