One of my soft (audio app) needs a 3 button mouse for some settings (settings to be done once with the middle button - I will not need this 3 button mouse later). Any recommendation?

...finally (based on the recommendation of the local Mac dealer) I just picked up the Logitech MX Master 3 for Mac mouse. Although my original idea was to have a 3 button mouse for some software settings (can be done only with a 3 button mouse), but this unit is so nice that I am thinking to use it from now on and put my lovely apple mouse on side...I am still thinking...

Does anybody has experience with this mouse?
This mouse is a bit "sluggish" whenever I restart the MP7,1 (Catalina), let say a sec or so. It looks it needs a bit of time to connect after the restart. (Of course) my apple mouse reacts immediately.

I wonder, do I really need to install the Logitech Options Software?

You're using a MacPro, right?
By all means, use the unifying receiver instead of bt (if you're using bt).

The Logitech mice will work better using the "Unifying receiver" with its own radio "band" -- instead of bluetooth.

Also, instead of the Logitech software, I suggest you try either of these:
- USB overdrive
- Steermouse

Actually, try them both (but not at the same time).
Then pick which you like better.
