I have decided to go for a 3-monitor setup, off of my MacBook Pro (I checked and it's possible with the hardware I have). I've figured that TripleHead2Go would be the best idea, but I want advice as to what displays and other paraphernalia I should use.

I WILL be using the displays for games and movie editing, thus I do not want a poor quality set, but I really want to keep the cost of doing this low, since the TH2G box costs close to $300 by itself.

The monitor I have been looking at is the Dell SE198WFP (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8643916&type=product&id=1195598242744), only because it has a free 3 yr. warranty, a lower price, and ratings on it are decent. But is there a better deal?

TripleHead2Go is a product by Matrox (this is for people that do not know) which allows you to have up to 3 monitors displaying on your computer/laptop. All laptops allow 2 "desktops", and TH2G works by emulating a screen with the width of 3 normal screens, then receiving the signal and dividing it so that portions are displayed on the 3 monitors. Its pretty cool, but as said above, it is very costly. Are there any other, cheaper alternatives?

If anyone has any tips, resources or ideas on how to cut costs in any way, it would be a big help. I've looked at http://www.taylorwilsdon.com/laptop/matrox-dualhead2go-digital-edition-review as a resource, any others would be nice.

Im new to Mac Rumors, but I have used posts to solve problems i've had before... so I hope there are some geniuses that know the best way to make a 3-screen guru!

Thanks, Josh.
