3 Dots on Dock

Can someone explain to me why suddenly I have 3 dots on my applications on my dock?

Well, seems like you modded your dock. Those indicators most probably were part of the package.

I did mod the dock. But it's been modded for about 8 months and this just popped up. Now whenever I try to open the program that modded the dock, it crashes.

I've got that mod and love it. AFAIK it's always had the 3 dots, not sure why it would take months to show up on your system. I'm not at a mac right now, or I could tell you how to fix it (there's a folder with the dock info on the system somewhere)

Anyway, it's just the 'running program' indicator

Try uninstalling it with AppDelete, or use Docker and choose to reset the default Dock settings.
