I do three fingers up to close the tab. It's labeled "swipe up". It is in control of Command + W.

I like the default 3 finger swipe up that goes to top of page....

Perhaps you could screen shoot

a spreadsheet or document and put that on as a wallpaper. Then, when you swipe up, there'd be a reasonable facsimile of a work product in view. ???
