On my iMac Core Duo, I have had 3 kearnal panics in one day. It started to happen today, this moning when I tried to print some thing and the others just happened randomly. This...after a whine out of my SuperD! Whet the hell?

Hardware issue, almost without a doubt. Warranty service!
 
Have you installed anything new in the machine hardware wise? Also check your logs to see if it may be RAM or infact your superdrive causing this.

No, sorry if this is annoying buttt....how could this be Sperdrive?
 
Make sure you run a few passes of memtest. Run it from single user boot (command line) with the log option. Bad ram can be a pain, best to find it and replace it as early as possible.
