The new Smart Covers and Smart Cases for iPad Air have moved to the 3-panel design, which means that in "triangle mode," there is no overlapping.
How stable are the new cases when used in "typing mode" on your lap, as if sitting on a couch? Does the triangle move around a lot, or collapse easily? I'm hoping someone in Australia has one of these and can comment.
