Hi,
I was waiting for Snow Leopard to arrive and now i will by my next MBP.
But i have a few questions:

1. If i order it on the 28th, will it have 10.6 installed already ?
2. Will the refurbished Macs have 10.6 in the next weeks or do they come with the 10.6 CD ?
3. Since the 10.6 has a smaller "footprint", do i win this space when i upgrade from 10.5 ? Does it install the new OS and completely wipe out all files and traces of the old OS ?

1. It may, if you order it via Apple online. Otherwise, it's just going to be included as a drop-in DVD that will be in the box when you get it.

2. Probably the same as above, a drop-in disc is most likely.

3. Yes, you will win the space back when upgrading from 10.5. It doesn't entirely erase Leopard, but enhances it -- keeping what it needs and trashing what it doesn't. You could do a "clean install" of the OS -- meaning entirely erase the computer and then put Snow Leopard on it (and skip Leopard entirely) -- but this has yet to be determined. Until Apple releases more info on Snow Leopard, we won't know if that can be done.
