Hi all

So, I understand that Bootcamp won't work with 3 TB internal drives.

However...are you still able to create the 2nd partition using disk utility, install Windows, and use it via Parallels or VMware?

(Like many of you, I was unaware about the limitations of Bootcamp to the 2.2 TB drives until reading these forums)

Bootcamp is working fine for me with a 4TB drive.

I know.....

for sure than some HDD makers provides "special" drivers to lift off the 2.2 TB limit, most notably Seagate and Western Digital.
Havin said the latter, if you can create a "logical" partitition, I suppose you can run/install Windows into that partitition (provided you create a partition sized less than 2.2 TB)
