I just bought 30" ACD from CompUSA today, with the store shutting down i couldnt resist the deal they offer. Along with the purchase i bought the Apple care for the ACD. I tried to register it tonight and along with my Registration number. All i got was an error message saying my serial for the display is invalid... any one every had a similar issue... the display didn't not come in a box because it was the display model... any thoughts on this matter?

Have you checked the serial number on the display? That will tell you when it was new. I really don't think you can buy apple care for a floor model. I think you got screwed from Comp USA.

I have a feeling that if they did in fact sell you a floor model, that if you contacted Apple they would allow you to get Apple Care, due to the issues that Comp-Usa had as a store and that you are just a victim. Unless of course they sold you it as a floor model or used...in which case you are screwed.
