30" ACD: SHOULD I TRADE IT FOR A 27" MDP?

Hey everyone,

Just wondering what your guys' opinion is on the 27" ACD MDP version. I have the 30" ACD with the matte screen. Are there any real advantages from getting rid of my current setup and getting the 27"?

I'm curious how the 30" ACD holds up today. Do you do any color critical work?

You have described the use case....apps to be used....etc. So without requirements, hard to give advice.

Anything really. Photo editing/Light Room, 3D apps such as Cinema 4D, Photoshop web/graphic design and video editing. Obviously it has to be profiled. I'm just curious how well the 30" can be profiled versus a display with built in hardware LUT.

If it hasn't started to turn pink as the fluorescent backlight gets older, I'd keep the 30".

Otherwise, I'd go to one of the Dell Ultrasharp 27's over the Apple.
