I'm trying out a 30" Cinema Display after trying a bunch of other displays. It is very impressive in most respects, but I have noticed somewhat uneven backlighting in the corners (3 in particular) when viewing it in a dark room with dark images on the the screen. I've also noticed about 8 pixels that stay lighter when I have a pure black screen (these are almost unnoticable, and are only visible on the darkest black screen). Are either of these (or perhaps both) common to this display or others of its size? If I returned it for another one, would I likely see the same issues?
P.S. I suspect that on dark black screens it is common to see some highlighting in the corners due to the sheer size of this display. As this is my first experience with such a large display I have nothing to compare it to... is this correct?
