All,
I have a 30 inch Apple Display that still works superbly as it should for what I paid for it in 2006. That said I no longer have a PC with a DVI video card since I have moved to an HP8540w laptop. Question I would like to utilize the monitor one of two ways:
- hookup to laptop with a Female DVI dual link to male display port adaptor, will that work or does such a thing exist?

- hook up to xbox 360 with a Female DVI Dual Link to male HDMI, does this exist?

I have looked lots of places and went to frys for the DVI to HDMI adaptor but it must have been single link or the xbox cannot drive the monitor?

Any assistance is greatly appreciate cause I hate to have to sell this monitor on eBay.....

Displayport to DualLink DVI is sold by Dell for about $80 and yes, of course that works.

The HDMI port of the XBOX does not support DualLink, so just purchase a standard HDMI to DVI adapter. The resolution will be limited to 1280x800, though.
