30'' Cinema Display No Full Resolution with MBP 17''???

Hi there

I was running the 30'' Cinema Display with my Late 2010 MBP-17'' sucessfully so far (using the Mini DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI Adapter) getting the full resolution of 2560 by 1600. But since a few days I can't get it to work anymore and it just tells me that 1920 x 1200 is "usable resolution".

I tried everything from restarting to other settings and nothing worked to get the display working with the full 2560 x 1600 res again.

Anybody know what's going on and how i can fix it?

Dual-link DVI adapter failure most likely.
