Hi Everyone,

I have two 30" Cinema displays. Both have really noisy power bricks and one goes in and out. Rest assured, I am not going to spend $100 on another power brick for these super old monitors. I am wondering if anyone has ever just wired up their own power supply for these and if there would be any potential issues? I am looking at this: https://www.amazon.com/Switching-Co...+watt+power+supply&qid=1732303969&sr=8-6&th=1

Its a AliE generic copy (slightly more powerful) of a MeanWell LRS-200-24, 24v 200w, which costs not much more, but which can be bought locally anywhere, and comes with proper certifications.
The ACD only needs less than 8 amps, as the original PSU is 150w.

Don’t do the 8amp, because you also need power for usb hub and de power cable for MacBook, you will get power errors on your ACD screen
