30" Cinema Display Update anytime soon?

Hello all!

I'm a video editor and I've been using my 17" mbp from the majority of the remote work I've been doing the last few months. I will be purchasing a new macpro as soon as the update comes around, as I feel it will be worth the wait.

I would really like to buy as 30" display asap. As great as this laptop screen is its not enough real estate for me to me looking at for 8-12hrs a day. I have been holding out the last few months on buying one since its been so long since the last update. According to the buyers guide theses things are overdue for an update.

Does anyone have any idea when these are going to be updated? Are they going to be significantly better? (ie more resolution? or just a new case design?) If its more than 2 months I think I'll just look at purchasing a refurbished or used 30"

Is it possible apple will update the tower and displays at the same time?
