30 inch LED Cinema Displays

I'm tempted to buy one of the current 30 inch Apple Cinema Displays but I'm concerned that they may be releasing an updated LED model in January to coincide with the 24 inch LED Cinema Display. Has anyone heard anything about this or have any valuable input?
