30 inch monitor wanted... Please help!

I do a lot of design work and plan to do that for a career. I own a MacBook Pro (unibody, 15") and an iMac 24" (3.06GHz (not new one)) I am thinking of selling the iMac and getting a very large monitor such as Apple's 30 inch display. I know they are do for an update, but the glare on my iMac hurts my eyes, much like the new display. The older display doesn't hurt my eyes at all... What are your thoughts?

As for use; I use my MacBook Pro for everything and the iMac has come as a close second... I don't use it other than browsing the internet or so on now so it's a waste to have both really.

I would get the Dell 3007WFP or 3008WFP depending on your budget. Better inputs and cheaper.

Dell 3007 is very good, however slightly outdated, 3008 has lag input issues so Id avoid that. Thus in reality you need to wait for 3009 as well

look into samsungs perhaps?

True... The dell is beautiful! I may have to wait for the upgrade.
