$174 + tax.

My MBP is only a month and a half old. Since I can wait until day 364 to add it, should I wait for a better deal or is this the best that I will find?

This is a great deal even when not on sale (although it doesn't seem like it's really "on sale", just 30% off compared to MSRP from Apple), so I say buy now. Just note that you can't place orders on weekends with these guys.

In short: this is the regular price on B&H, but it's still a great price for the 13".

For the 15", you're better off using the educational discount. For those shopping around on different sites, make sure to buy from a reputable site that is known to sell legitimate AppleCare - Apple has been known to refuse to activate illegitimate copies.

Will I still have to bring in my Macbook in to Apple to activate? The price seems good.....

If this is their regular price, then I could wait on this, could I not?

Yup, but as far as I know, they do not discount individual AppleCare plans any further. They occasionally have MacBook + AppleCare bundles which reduces the price than if you bought both individually, but no other discounts beyond that. There is no harm waiting though, if you want to see if they have any sales, or if you'd want to shop around.

That's good to know. Makes no sense to rush and use the credit card when I still have over 10 months to add it. Thanks.
