$30 off Valentine's Day special

I just received an e-mail from Apple about a promotion they have: spend $299 and receive $30 off before Feb 14.

I was wondering if this would work with educational discounts. Does this means that one could buy the 15GB iPod for $269, get a $30 accessory to increase the total to $299, and then get $30 off? Usually, the Apple store promotions do not work with educational discounts, but I could not find any statement one way or another on the e-mail. I probably missed it, but I wanted to check.

Make an order and put in the code... it won't accept the code if it won't work. You don't have to complete the order to try out the code.
