Ok, I'm watching the Season 1 30 Rock episode "Cleveland", and at one point Liz Lemon and Floyd are having a conversation on the street, and before going into the subway, homeland security asks to search the contents of her bag. Aside from various and sundries, the guard pulls out a book entitled "You're Gonna Be OK!". It's clearly visible, and Tina Fey is almost busting a sarcastic gut as she pulls it out.

I was thinking I'd quickly Google it, and have a minor chuckle... but I got bubkis.

Where are the 30 Rock zealots chronicling every nuance of the show?

I checked out TV.com:
http://www.tv.com/30-rock/cleveland/episode/1021406/summary.html?tag=ep_list;ep_title;20
I search on Amazon... couldn't find it.

Nothing in the trivia section. So I'm stumped. Just a minor goof on feeling ok in a world where entering the subway requires a search of your purse?

Ah... the trivia that gets under your skin. Who can predict it?

Well, I'm originally from Cleveland, but neither the title nor seeing the book cover itself ring any bells for me. Sorry.

So, what exactly is 30 Rock? (I mean, apart from it obviously being a TV show.) I don't watch TV, so I wouldn't know.

EDIT: Totally off-topic, but doesn't this scene kind of scare anyone else? Heavily armed police in the streets searching people going about their daily lives? Ah well...

The NYC police department sets up check points in random subway stations here. They randomly check anyone who has a bag. I see them all the time. It was probably just easier to film the scene on the street though...

well i am surprised to know that you don't know about the show 30 rock. So here i just wanna let you know about the show and for this you just need to watch or download 30 rock episodes to watch this particular episode.

I don't usually watch 30 Rock, and I don't know what, if anything, the title of the episode has to do with Cleveland, but I live in the area, and to me the book title has absolutely nothing to do with the city.

The only thing that comes to mind is that years ago, there was a famous self-help book called "I'm OK, You're OK". Might be a play on that. Maybe she's supposed to be embarrassed that somebody found her reading one of those cheesy self-help books.

I'd rather go to a third world country than have a lay-over in Cleveland.
Oh please. You're a Utah fan and you're complaining about Cleveland?

but what if that lay-over were to include a Cleveland Cavaliers game? ;)

I find it funny that Cleveland had a subway in 30 Rock...since...there aren't any.
Did they really do that? Hilarious!

Closest thing we have is the underground railroad, which is actually more fascinating than any subway.

I think the subway was in NYC. If you look at the screen grab, looks like NYPD to me. I haven't seen the episode in a while, so I can't be 100% on it.
