All iPads 30 Tmobile Plan with iPad

I am seeing mixed results with this.. Tmobile has the $30 prepaid plan with 5gb untrottles data. From what I am reading some say it is working with the iPad and others are saying it is not. Has anyone tried?

No it does not work on iPads or any other tablets. The $30 plan only works for phones.

I know it is meant for phones, but from reading reddit people say they still get data access on their iPads.. Hmmm
