Can you connect a 30" acd to a Powermac G4 with an nvidia GeForce4 Ti 4600?

No, the 30" ACD requires a video card with a dual-link DVI output. This limits it's use with PowerBooks to:

Both the 15" and 17" final revisions
The 17" and the 15" (with optional upgraded video card) in the revision before that.

So yours won't work.

Only the 30" displays currently need a dual-link DVI port - so all the 23" and 24" options should be fine with pretty much any DVI graphics card made in the past few years.

P.S. Wasn't it very forward looking for the DVI standard to include single and dual-link, as it's been around a while?

People have flashed PC 6800GTs that are dual link for use in a G4, that could support a 30" ACD if you're willing to spend a little more and do a bit of geekery. :)
