$300 Apple Gift Cards

I am in a dilemma - I received $300 in Apple Gift cards for Christmas and I am trying to decide what to buy. I wanted to get an Apple Care plan for my Macbook Air 11" but was also thinking should I just save the money and use it toward the iPhone 5 when it comes out (still with the 3GS) or save it for the iPad 2 (I already have an iPad and love it). I wanted to get the Apple care because I am worried about my Air's motherboard and/or screen going bad after the 1st year since it is a revision 1 model. I know it's kind of petty, but was wondering what you guys would do with $300 in Apple Gift cards and something similar to my situation. Thanks!

You don't have to use it immediately. I would wait and decide later

Ditto. Applecare can be added within a year. Wait until the new ipad comes out, see if its worth an upgrade for you. Then depending on the sale price use the gift certificate.
