Hey!
Got a Macbook last July, and I see that the trackpad (the part you click) has gone a bit dirty. Does anyone know of confirmed way to clean this, and get it back to normal?

My favorite product for this task is the Mr.Clean Magic Eraser. Just be careful and don't rub on the trackpad too hard...this pad works wonders, sometimes a bit too well! This product is perfect because it doesn't use any plastic-damaging caustic chemicals. I used to use one on my old iBook and it made it look brand new. :)

I second the magic eraser- but aren't they just a little sketchy- they get off almost any stain of almost anything!!!

I just cleaned two iBooks and they looked brand new after the ME!

Yeah, like I said, be very gentle with this product. It takes very little effort to remove the grime off of your computer with this. Also these work wonders with all kinds of other cleaning tasks. And they're cheap, too!
