8mm iMove import issues

This is the same issue.

I have an 8mm video, trying to import it... Sony Digital 8 Handycam... iMove can control the camera, but nothing will import, and clicking import does nothing.

Any ideas? This is seriously annoying!

Nevermind...

I clicked "Magic Movie" and for some reason this imported it!
